On January 23, 2023, an agreed order signed by the state of Tennessee's Attorney General's office was submitted to a federal judge. That order concludes that Tennessee's "scheme" to deny individuals 18-20 years old who can otherwise lawfully possess a handgun from being able to get a permit or to carry in compliance with Tennessee's permitless carry law unconstitutional. In this interview, WTN's Brian Wilson discusses with John Harris, TFA's executive director, the significance of that federal court decision as well as why it is that Tennessee does not have "constitutional carry" at all.
